EchoBooks started because I kept reading the same one-star review under children’s workbooks on Amazon:
“My child needed me for every single page.”
A parent buys a workbook hoping for twenty quiet minutes and gets a reading job instead. Everybody treats that as a law of physics — paper cannot talk, so of course an adult has to sit there.
It is not a law of physics. It is a QR code and somewhere to put the audio.
That is the shape of everything I make. Find the thing everyone has quietly accepted as unavoidable, then go and check whether it actually is.
If something I built breaks, you email me and you get me — not a ticket queue.
